What is Petscop Connect?
Petscop was a web series that ran from 2017 to 2019. It was made to look like a Let's Play of an unreleased PlayStation game from 1997. Petscop Connect lets you play that game in your browser. You can walk around the gift plane, the Newmaker plane, and more. Even Checkers and Graverobber!
It works in most modern browsers on computers, phones, tablets and some vehicles. Your memory card saves stay in your browser on that device.
Multiplayer
Everyone who connects to petscop.org shares one world, so you'll run into other players while you explore. You can chat with them.
Normal or Hard
- Normal Better gameplay experience
This is the default. The waits are shorter, an optional radar helps guide you in some places, and a few other things are easier and more enjoyable.
- Hard More authentic Petscop experience
This plays like the game in Petscop, with its original timings and long waits.
You can change it at any time in the pause menu, under Player > Game type.

Is Petscop Connect free?
Yes. You play it for free in your browser. There is nothing to download or install.
How is this version of Petscop different from others?
Petscop Connect is a dedicated multiplayer experience played from Paul's perspective. It follows his playthrough, with cutscenes and flashbacks, so it plays more like what he played in the series. Everyone shares the same campaign, so you can live Paul's story together with other players.
Can I play Petscop with friends?
Yes. Everyone who connects to petscop.org shares the same world. Meet up in the game and chat to the players next to you.
Should I pick Normal or Hard?
Pick Normal if you want to explore and see everything. Pick Hard if you want a more authentic Petscop experience. You can change it at any time.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Touch controls appear on the screen by themselves, and a controller works too.
Where are my saves kept?
Memory card saves stay in your browser on that device. They are not uploaded anywhere, so private browsing or clearing site data can delete them.
Can I play Graverobber from Petscop?
Yes. Petscop's two board games, Graverobber and Checkers, are in Petscop Connect. Play them against another player at the Lobby's tables, or against the computer.
Is this game officially published by Sony?
No. Petscop Connect is not made, published or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Petscop Connect runs on its own engine, and its original features and content were made for Petscop Connect. Many of its game assets come from Giftscop, the true recreation of Petscop.
